Paul Caplin Death, Obituary – It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of my father, Paul Caplin. He left us peacefully in his sleep at 12:15 am this morning. Paul lived a full and impactful 70 years, surrounded by the love and support of many friends and family members who were by his side throughout his journey.

Paul’s last few years were marked by significant physical and emotional challenges, but his spirit remained unbroken. We find solace in knowing that he is now free from pain and suffering. His brilliance, kindness, understanding, patience, and warmth were the hallmarks of his character, and these qualities made him a truly remarkable individual. His ability to touch lives and make those around him feel valued is a testament to the extraordinary person he was.

As we navigate this difficult time, we are committed to honoring Paul’s legacy and ensuring that his memory lives on. He was a beacon of compassion and wisdom, a mentor and friend to many, including his students whom he cherished like family. The impact he had on those around him will be felt for years to come.

We will provide updates regarding the arrangements for his Funeral and Shiva as soon as possible. In the meantime, if you have a favorite memory of Paul or a story about how he touched your life, please leave a comment. Sharing these memories will help us all remember the beautiful ways he influenced our lives and the lives of others.

In response to many requests for support, we will be setting up a GoFundMe page to assist with the expenses for his funeral and memorial arrangements. While any help is deeply appreciated, please remember that it is entirely voluntary. To close, I want to leave you with one of Dad’s favorite quotes, which perfectly captures his unique sense of humor and perspective on life: “Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana.”

Paul Caplin will be dearly missed and forever loved. His legacy will continue to inspire and comfort us as we remember the remarkable person he was.
