Marcus Carter  Obituary, Death – A loss has been announced to our Swamp Family, and it is with a great deal of sorrow that we make this announcement. Marcus Carter passed away that day, which was Sunday.

Marcus graduated with the class of 2024, where he was a model student, a standout athlete, and well liked by both his classmates and the DCS teachers for his courteous, respectful, and humble personality. Marcus graduated with the class of 2024.

Tomorrow, on Wednesday, July 31st, we will commemorate the life of Marcus Carter by releasing balloons at two o’clock in the afternoon. The event will take place at Delhi Charter School, on the track of the Stuart Scurria Sports Complex. There will be an announcement made at a later time regarding the funeral and visitation arrangements. Being able to come to terms with Marcus’ passing is proving to be challenging for many of us.

A leaflet including a list of community resources that can be utilized in the event that they are required is also included to this message, along with some images of Marcus.

Continue to pray for his parents, siblings, extended family, friends, teammates, teachers, and coaches. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Marcus was cherished by everyone, and his absence will be keenly felt by all.
