Jennifer McKibbon Obituary, Death – Our colleague Jennifer McKibbon passed away unexpectedly, and we are inconsolably heartbroken by this news. During this trying time, we want her family and friends to know that we are thinking of them and sending our deepest condolences.

As more of the Treaty #3 communities become connected to the internet, Jennifer’s work has had and will continue to have a significant impact. She was dedicated to working with the leadership of Treaty #3 and the collective of partners to realize the Dibaajimowin project, which aims to connect Treaty #3 communities to high-speed internet.

She was honored to meet with the elders who had taught her the protocols of the community during her visits and who had spent time with her in order to ensure that she was able to carry out the tasks in the most effective manner. Her commitment, generosity, and infectious sense of humor will be dearly missed.
