Amanda Simpson Obituary, Death – Mrs. Amanda Jane Simpson of Chesterfield passed away at Chesterfield Royal Hospital on July 24, 2024, at the age of 53. A lifelong resident of Chesterfield, Amanda was known for her warm spirit and dedication to her community and family.

Amanda was born in Chesterfield and spent her life contributing to her hometown. She worked as a screemaker at Dema and later at Sainsbury’s, where she was admired for her work ethic and friendly demeanor. For over 24 years, she was a dedicated employee of the Victoria Club, where she formed lasting friendships and touched the lives of many. Recently, she had embraced a new job with enthusiasm and a sense of adventure.

Amanda’s interests reflected her love for life and the people around her. She enjoyed spending time with friends and socializing, always bringing joy and laughter to gatherings. She had a passion for traveling and cherished holidays abroad, creating unforgettable memories with her loved ones. Her family was her greatest joy, and she loved spending quality time with them.

Amanda leaves behind her mother, Kathryn, her partner, Dave, her children, Rebecca and Anthony, and their father, Gary. She also leaves her partner’s children, Lexi and Tom, her grandchildren, Kristoffer and Oliver, her sister, Elizabeth, and Elizabeth’s husband. Her three nephews and niece will also carry her memory with them.

Amanda’s funeral service will be held at Chesterfield Crematorium on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at 11:50 a.m. Following the service, a wake will be held at the Victoria Club, Whittington Moor, where friends and family can gather to celebrate her life.
