Larry R. Haskell Death, Obituary – Larry “Rich” Haskell passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County. Rich was known for his gentle spirit, dedication to his community, and deep love for his family. Born in Rock Springs, Wyoming, Rich spent his life serving those around him. He was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and contributed greatly to the local community through his acts of kindness and service.

His faith was a guiding force in his life, influencing his actions and inspiring those who knew him. Rich proudly served his country in the military, and his service was a testament to his character and commitment. His dedication to duty and honor was evident to all who had the privilege of serving alongside him. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2055 Edgar Street, Rock Springs, Wyoming.

Family, friends, and community members are invited to attend and celebrate Rich’s life and legacy. A viewing will take place from 3:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Vase Funeral Home, 154 Elk Street, Rock Springs, Wyoming. This will be an opportunity for those who knew and loved Rich to gather, share memories, and offer their condolences to his family.

Following the funeral service, Military Honors, Graveside Services, and Interment will be held at Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery. This solemn occasion will provide an opportunity to honor Rich’s service to his country and pay tribute to a life well-lived. Rich leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and faith. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His memory will continue to inspire and guide those he touched throughout his life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Rich’s memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting his spirit of giving and compassion. Rich’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County for their care and support during his final days.
