Gina Schaffer Death, Obituary – With heartbreaking sorrow, we announce the death of Gina Schaffer, who passed away on Thursday, August 1, in a tragic motorcycle accident in Wyoming, Minnesota. Gina was a beloved member of the community, known for her vibrant spirit and deep faith. Many will recognize Gina from her time leading worship at Resurrection Church alongside her twin sister, Dinah.
Their harmonious voices and heartfelt devotion left a lasting impression on all who experienced their ministry. Gina’s love for music and worship was a testament to her unwavering faith and her desire to share the love of Jesus with others. In honor of Gina’s life, Resurrection Church will host a community gathering and prayer vigil on Friday, August 2, from 7 to 10 p.m.
This event is intended to provide fellow students and community members with a safe space to grieve and support one another. Though designed with students in mind, the gathering is open to anyone who wishes to come, regardless of age. As the Schaffer family makes plans to celebrate Gina’s life and mourn her passing, they ask for your prayers and support.
