Chris Melton has sadly passed away, the cause of his death still remains unknown at the time of this report. His death was made known to the public following a social media post which reads thus “Our hearts are utterly broken today as we mourn the loss of our friend, Chris Melton.

For over 20 years Complete Care Inc. has had the privilege of working alongside of Chris to offer services to the community that he loved so much. Young and Old, Chris was a genuine giver of himself, to anyone he could help. And That is how he will always be remembered.”

Following His death, many friends, family, and colleagues have taken to their social media handles to express shock, disbelief, and sadness. A friend wrote “Crest Country lost a legend today. Chris Melton, I love you my brother. Always and forever.”

Another wrote “Our thoughts and prayers are with the Melton Family. We will always remember Chris for what he meant to football in the county but even more for the positive impact he had on many kids and adults.”

Another friend and teammate wrote thus ” RIP coach Chris Melton . Great coach and even better man. I appreciate all the advice you gave me last time we crossed paths. Prayers to his family and those Crest middle boys.”
