Terry Babb Obituary, Death – Terry Babb of Evansville, Indiana has sadly passed away leaving family and friends shocked and saddened, the cause of his death has not been determined as of the time of this post. His death was made public following a social media post made by his friend which reads thus ” I’m heartbroken, teary-eyed, and full of grief by the loss of my good buddy, Terry Babb.
Although each of those emotions is expected, I choose to focus on the good memories, fun times, bucket-list golf trips, USI basketball games, and belly-laugh good times we enjoyed together over many years. Terry was, first, a Godly man but also a great husband and provider to his wife, Susan, and their kids Nicole Renee, BJ and Brock, but to me, he was like a brother.
I already miss him and can’t believe he’s no longer with us. I just played 18 holes with him Saturday, and can still feel his firm grasp when we shook hands as we always did on the final green with the words: “As always, enjoyed it, my friend”.
Terry taught me so much – his plumb-bob method in lining up putts (that I’ve now adopted), his excellent knowledge of the rules, and his meticulous bookkeeping as treasurer of the Helfrich Men’s Club. He’ll be sorely missed by many, but I’m comforted to know he’s now smiling in the company of his son, Brock, and brother Randy, and safe in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus! See you on the other side, my friend!”.
