Julie Nicole Grey Obituary, Death – The unexpected death of Julie Nicole Grey, 31, of Elizabethtown, PA, occurred on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. Julie was raised in Elizabethtown and was born in Rockville, MD. Her parents were Thomas I. Grey, Jr. and Jill Grey (Odell). She graduated from Elizabethtown Area High School in 2011 and Eastern University in St. Davids, PA, in 2016.

Early Life 

Julie worked part-time at Gretna Glen Camp in Lebanon, PA and Faith Factory Learning Center in Mount Joy, PA for five years. Julie was a member of St. Paul’s Church in Elizabethtown, where she participated in several young adult ministry groups. Julie had been a camper at Gretna Glen Camp since she was six years old, and as an adult, she worked there in addition to volunteering.

Hobbies/Passion

Julie enjoyed traveling to see her friends in the Czech Republic, playing the guitar and singing, and seeing Broadway musicals. She also enjoyed geocaching. With her kindness, generosity, joyous presence, and sense of humor, Julie touched the lives of countless people.

We are left with a hole in our hearts by her abrupt departure, and we will miss her terribly. Her parents, sister Amanda K. Grey, grandmother Nancy Odell, and a close-knit family group also survive her. Her grandfather Harvey L. Odell, her great-grandfather Thomas I. Grey, and her grandmother Jean Sekelsky all passed away before her.

Funeral Arrangements 

There will be a memorial service and luncheon at Saint Paul’s Church in Elizabethtown, PA on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 3:00 PM to remember Julie’s life and legacy. There will be a visiting hour from 1:00 pm to the start of the service.
