Emma Schnautz Obituary, Death – Emma Schnautz of Oklahoma has reportedly died following an illness known as ‘Hemorrhagic stroke’. Her death was made public following a social media post made by her best friend ‘Cherie Estes Schnautz’.
The post reads “It is with a heavy, broken heart that I share with you the Angels flew our baby girl, my best friend, to heaven at 1:44 this morning August 9, 2024 … just 11 short days past her 25th birthday. She was surrounded by family and friends who are family to us. I held her coming into this world, and I held her as she left it.
Emma FaceTimed me at 2:07 Wednesday morning crying and not feeling well. I tried to calm her and within 10 minutes I watched my baby have what we now know was a Hemorrhagic stroke. She was transported via ambulance. We will never know why she had the stroke. That afternoon she underwent emergency brain surgery and we still prayed for a miracle for our tiny dancer.
But unfortunately her brain received too much damage and it was unable to recover. Our beautiful girl chose to be an organ donor and she fought like hell to stay with us long enough to allow that to happen. She was able to save multiple lives now and will aid in research to hopefully save many more lives in the future with this gift. Our SMILEY lit up a room just by being in it.
If you were lucky enough to know and love her, I don’t have to tell you how very blessed you were. I ask that you share your memories of her (please make your posts shareable) continue to speak her name and keep her alive in our hearts.
Please don’t ask if I’m OK, because life will NEVER be OK for our family again. But we will find a way to go on because that’s what she wanted. Hug your babies, nothing in this life is a guarantee.
Emma leaves behind mom and dad, 3 amazing big brothers, 2 nieces, a nephew who is just days short of getting here, an uncle and 2 sisters in love, grandparents, her fiancé, their 2 dogs and many friends. Please keep all of us in your prayers as we grieve her loss and try to find a way to navigate this life without her in it.”
