Naryah Wright Obituary, Death – According to the family’s confirmation on GoFundMe, the victim of the shooting that occurred early on Sunday morning was identified as Naryah Wright, who was from Steelton. At around 12:15 a.m. on Sunday, officers were dispatched to the vicinity of South 19th and Derry streets in response to a report of rounds being fired in that area.
It was said in the release that when they arrived, they discovered that they had “located a large number of individuals in the area, and immediately began searching for victims,” but they were unable to find anyone on their search. A short time later, Naryah arrived at the hospital suffering from a gunshot wound.
She “was rushed into surgery but later died as a result of their injuries,” the police said. “After the surgery, she passed away.” An inquiry is now being conducted.
