According to reports from the Bismarck Police Department, the accident took place around 7:45 p.m. Feser was riding his motorcycle behind 83-year-old Harry Bender, who was driving an SUV. Bender attempted to make a left turn into a parking lot for an apartment building, at which point witnesses saw Feser attempt to pass the SUV. Tragically, Feser’s motorcycle collided with the driver’s side of the SUV, resulting in a devastating crash.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and pronounced Joseph Feser dead. Neither Harry Bender nor his passenger sustained any injuries in the collision. The Bismarck Police Department is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash, but as of now, no further details have been released.
