Andrew Caparelli Death, Obituary – Andrew “Sandy” Caparelli, 77, of Peckville, formerly of Jessup, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2024, at Arden Courts Memory Care Community in Allentown. He was the beloved husband of Marilou Fuller Caparelli for 35 years, who predeceased him on May 9, 2001. Andrew was born to Nello and Jennie Ligi Caparelli, both of whom have passed away.

Andrew was a proud graduate of Jessup High School and served honorably in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he dedicated 33 years to Proctor & Gamble, retiring in 2002. He was a faithful member of Queen of Angels Parish.

Andrew was known for his deep love for his family and his passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed exploring nature and had a special fondness for antique cars, often spending time detailing vehicles for friends. His enthusiasm for life and his gentle spirit will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

He is survived by his son, David Caparelli and his wife Mary of Moscow; his grandchildren, Dominic Caparelli of Moscow and Valentina Caparelli of Everett, Washington; his brother, Frank Caporelli of Flemington, NJ; several nieces and nephews; and his companion, Patti Supinski. Andrew was preceded in death by his sister, Ann Yeselavage, and his brother, Robert Caparelli.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday, August 5, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Louis M. Margotta Funeral Home, 511 Church St., Jessup. A military funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 6, at 10 a.m. at St. Michael’s Church, Queen of Angels Parish. Attendees are asked to go directly to the church.
