Phillip Baker Obituary, Death – Phillip Baker a cherished father, son, brother, husband, and grandfather has sadly passed away, he was a proud veteran who served both in the Navy and Air Force. His death’s cause has not been revealed, his death was announced in a social media post made by his grandchild which reads thus “It is with great sadness that my grandfather, Phillip Baker passed away last Tuesday in the Philippines.

He dedicated much of his life to service, having served our country honorably in the Navy and Air Force, and to the greater community as a pastor for 54 years and theological professor working throughout the United States, Nigeria, and Southeast Asia.

He has worked in global service for over 15 years. His work in ministry and theological research welcomed numerous people back to the church from groups historically marginalized by the church, and his work in ecumenism and interfaith dialogue impacted people of multiple denominations and religious traditions.
