Karl Maier Obituary, Death – Karl Maier an experienced aircraft pilot has sadly passed away, the cause of his death is yet to be ascertained as at the time of this post. His death was announced in a social media post that reads thus “It is with a heavy heart that I have to type out these words. God has decided that he needed only the best of the best when it comes to helicopter pilots, and he brought home CW5 Karl Maier yesterday.
While the Night Stalker community lost a member who, by all rights, deserves to be on the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiments (Airborne) Mt Rushmore, my heart goes out to his wife and all of our hangar mom, Cindy Maier, and all of their family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time. “For they love to fight, fought to win, and would rather die than quit”. Night Stalkers don’t quit.

Before his death he was a member of the Night Stalkers Brotherhood Motorcycle Association, his death was a very big shock to the organization as expressed in a social media post published on their official media page. The post reads thus “We got this news yesterday & honestly it’s been very difficult to process, as this is a tremendous loss to our community . A true Quiet Professional , Hero, Warrior , Mentor, and just amazing human being. One of the Originals and First Presidents of the Nightstalker Brotherhood Motorcycle Association.
