Gus Frangos Obituary, Death – Gus Frangos, beloved president of Cuyahoga Land Bank has sadly passed away, his death was announced in a social media post made by his close friend who wrote thus “We will truly miss your joyous voice as you now sing with the Angels in heaven. God has gained an incredible soul. Your humor was unmatchable. Always bring a smile to the faces of everyone around you. Thank you for always sharing the best of yourself with us Gus Frangos.

Archbishop Noel Treanor Obituary, Death – Archbishop Noel Treanor has sadly passed away, his death cause has not been known at the time of this report. His death was confirmed and announced following a social media post made on the official page of ‘Ballymoney & Derrykeighan Catholic Parish, the post reads thus “It is with great sadness that we have learned of the death earlier today of Archbishop Noel Treanor.
Archbishop Treanor was Bishop of Down & Connor from 2008 to 2023 when he was appointed as Apostolic Nuncio to the European Union by Pope Francis. During his time in Down & Connor Archbishop Noel made many visits to our parish including in 2012 when he rededicated Our Lady & St Patrick’s church after renovations.
Many younger people in the parish received the sacrament of confirmation from him while Fr Damian was ordained a priest by him in Coleraine in 2011. Our 10am Mass on Monday morning will be offered for his soul. May God grant him eternal rest.”
