The post reads thus “Rest in peace, my dearest friend Diane Dubois. You have been my friend for 42 years. We built a house in the same subdivision and were neighbors. We attended the same church, and you taught me how to cook American and Italian food.

Our daughters were classmates and friends. You included my family in your summer trips to Lake Mead for boat rides. You were always there for me during difficult times, helping to care for my children when they were sick. You were present at my US Citizenship Oath Taking.

Even after I moved away from Las Vegas, you never missed sending me holiday cards for Christmas, Easter, my birthday, Mother’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and even get-well cards. Your thoughtfulness, love, understanding, and generosity will be greatly missed. I will never forget you, my friend! Please pray for me, my angel friend, as I will always pray for you. Love you forever, Diane.”
