Bryan David Death, Obituary – On July 25th, our hearts were heavy as we said goodbye to Bryan David Hampton of California, Missouri, who passed away at the age of 58 after a brief battle with lung cancer. Bryan departed peacefully at the University of Missouri Hospital, surrounded by his devoted family, who were a constant source of love and support throughout his journey.
Bryan’s journey began on September 8, 1965, born to David and Sherry Hampton. He spent his formative years in California, Missouri, and graduated from California High School in 1985. Shortly after, he married Sharron Helmig, and together they welcomed their beloved son, Jacob Hampton, into the world.
An enthusiastic race car fan, Bryan found joy in attending car shows and races in the local area. His passion for motorsports was matched only by his unwavering faith in God and the power of prayer. Bryan was known for his infectious laugh, contagious smile, and a sense of humor that brightened the lives of those around him. His positivity and warmth left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
In 2002, Bryan found love again with Sherry (Jungmeyer) Hampton, whom he married and shared many happy years attending ball games and races together. Sadly, Bryan was preceded in death by Sherry on December 28, 2022, leaving behind cherished memories of their time together.
